These Exquisite Ceramics Are Made In The State Of Michoacan, Mexico, Where Expert Craftsmen And Women Extract Clay From The Earth That Is Then Carried By Burro To The Town Of San Jose De Gracia. The Clay Is Then Sculpted To Create These Works Of Art In The Form Of Candelabras And Pinas. There Are Only A Few Families Making These Glazed Ceramics, As They Continue The Traditions Of Michoacan, Making It A Vital Center Of Craft In Mexico. This Particular Heart Shaped Candelabra Was Made By Artisan Martha Cerano.
